Butterfly Kisses

This is the cutest Embroidery ever and I can't wait to make it. It's from Nini Makes and all you have to do is leave her a comment and she will send you the pattern. I'm so excited, I think it would be cute on a pillow or in a frame for the nursery. I love it, she is amazing.

So Fun!

This is a way cute doll house that is soft and light enough for little kids to cary easily. There's a cute barn too. Check it out here. I know it's kind of early to be making something like this for our girl (since she isn't even born yet) but I thought it was so cute! Maybe I'll have to make it as a gift for someone, I don't know who, but someone. It's just too fun not to make.

Crafting Session

I love our Brown girl mothers.  News travels fast with them! So as a few of you probably know, I am as my dad says "in a family way" or as Emma says my "eggo is preggo". Take your pick. :) I've known for a while but didn't want to make it public to the blogging community.  But this has given me a chance to start working on some cute craft ideas.  I just got back from Idaho where my best friend and I experimented.  We made nursing covers and appliqued some onesies and made some burb rags. I'm no a very good applique-er so don't mind the edges and we couldn't quite figure out the thickness and width of the right stitch so it doesn't show up very well on the outsides of the applique.

Nursing Cover
Elephant Onesie (looks more like a heffalump!)
Necktie Onesie
This is my favorite! Cowboy(girl) boot!
And matching burb rag but the edges got chewed up my the machine so I'm going to have to fix those. But it is a rag for spewing so I don't think the edges really matter that much!

Coming Soon

I decided, I am an amazing shopper. How else would I get the cutest Winnie the Pooh craft for only $5 (when it was originally 20)? Anyway, It's this cutest do-it-yourself thing...it's a fabric booklet that goes inside a matching pillow for the baby. I can't wait to sew it all together. Here's the sneak peek:

New Bag

Lately I've really been wanting to make a good bag for everyday use. I found this cute bag pattern on the Ric Rac blog and I loved it. (I just made a few changes.) I especially loved the idea of putting padding in the middle so it has more body. And I bought the fabric and remembered that it was the exact same as one shayla used for one of her quilts. hmm, no wonder why I loved it.

However, I thought it would be a little bigger so I could fit some books in it, but I don't mind making another one that's bigger. It was a fun bag to make.

Baby hats

These are two of the skull caps I'm making with flowers on them. I plan on making more cause I have a whole bunch of flower patterns that my mom bought me in San Francisco. I'm really excited cause the patterns are really cute.
